Cancellation and Refund Policy

Zealvert® Consulting | Effective Date: March 2026

This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the terms under which engagements with Zealvert® Consulting may be cancelled and whether refunds are applicable. This Policy is in compliance with consumer protection guidelines applicable in India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.


1. Nature of Services

We provide professional consulting, business process automation, and project management services. As these are knowledge-based and time-intensive professional services, refund eligibility is limited and is governed by the terms set forth below.

2. Cancellation by the Client

2.1 Before Commencement of Services

If you wish to cancel a confirmed engagement before any work has commenced, you must notify us in writing at consult@zealvert.com. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • More than 14 calendar days before commencement: Full refund of any advance paid, less any out-of-pocket expenses already incurred.
  • Within 7–14 calendar days before commencement: 50% of the advance paid will be refunded.
  • Within 7 calendar days before commencement: No refund of the advance paid.

Full fees remain payable if a fixed-price engagement has been agreed.

2.2 After Commencement of Services

If you cancel an engagement after work has commenced:

  • Fees corresponding to work completed and resources deployed up to the cancellation date shall be payable in full.
  • No refund shall be issued for work already performed.
  • Any pre-paid amounts in excess of fees for work completed will be refunded within 15 business days of settlement.

3. Cancellation by the Company

Zealvert® Consulting reserves the right to cancel an engagement due to non-payment, breach of terms, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). In the event of cancellation by us for reasons other than the Client's default, we will refund amounts paid for work not yet commenced within 15 business days.

4. Refund Process

All approved refunds will be processed via the original payment mode (bank transfer, NEFT/RTGS, or payment gateway reversal as applicable).

  • Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS): Within 7–15 business days of approval.
  • Payment Gateway Reversal: 5–10 business days, subject to the gateway provider's processing time.

We are not responsible for any delays caused by the banking system or payment gateway beyond our control.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Third-party tool or software subscription fees procured specifically for the Client's project.
  • Out-of-pocket travel, accommodation, or logistics expenses already incurred.
  • Fees for workshops, training sessions, or seminars already delivered.
  • Retainer fees for periods already elapsed.

6. Disputes and Grievances

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied or processed, you may raise a grievance by writing to us at consult@zealvert.com with the subject line "Refund Dispute – [Your Name / Invoice Number]". We will investigate and respond within 10 business days.

7. Governing Law and Amendments

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time, and revised versions will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
